Kyle Clayton is the current Governing Board President, having served on the board since 2023. Her currently serves as President of the board since 2025. Today, he’s raising his own family in the district — with one child enrolled in the Washington Elementary School District (WESD).

As a full-time Realtor®, Kyle brings an analytical, data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making. His professional experience has taught him the importance of transparency, integrity, and advocating tirelessly for others — principles he carries into his public service.

While on the board, he’s helped improve student attendance, championed continued investment in arts and athletics, and guided the district through a major leadership transition — always with a focus on students and families first.

Kyle’s commitment to community goes beyond the classroom. As a member of the Shaw Butte Neighborhood Alliance, he’s helped secure more than $250,000 in local investments, planted over 300 trees, and organized events that bring neighbors together. His track record proves he knows how to collaborate, build coalitions, and deliver results.
